Leading Melbourne legal eagle SEK Hulme planted 1.5 hectares each of Semillon, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon at Arthur's Creek in Victoria in the 70's. It was only 15 years later that only the very best wines were put on the market for the first time. According to James Halliday, "the Cabernets from the 1990's are absolutely outstanding, deeply fruited and marvelously structured." This is the current release, and one of the best to date. Never before exported, this marks the first time his wine (56 cases) has reached foreign shores.
