A Derby botanical two-handled oval dessert tureen, cover and stand
painted with specimen sprays, perhaps by John Brewer, named in Latin and English in pale-blue script on the reverse, with entwined gilt scroll handles and gilt-line rims, painted pale-blue mark and pattern 197, and impressed 2N, Duesbury & Kean, circa 1800 (light rubbing to gilt and glaze crack to the inside of footrim of stand) -- 25.5cm. wide
