Lot Essay

William Daniell wrote in his diary on 6 May 1792, 'Our Baggage was sent on about 7 miles. Passed by Nuldurgum, a small hill fort. Near it is a most astonishing Rock rising suddenly out of the plain which we imagined to be near 200 feet high.'
