The half-moon antefix with a facing head of Artemis Bendis, her curling locks framing her face, a lion skin capping her head, with erect leonine ears, recessed convex eyes, and a broad muzzle spread above the goddess' forehead, her up-turned wings at the sides of her head, with lidded almond-shaped eyes, the pupils delineated, with fleshy lips and a rounded chin, red pigment preserved for her skin
