etching, 1642, second (final) state, after the burnishing away of the middle curtain, a fairly good impression of this state, with thread margins or trimmed on or fractionally within the platemark, a small touched-in loss on the hat of Saint Jerome (backed), one or two pinholes, a soft crease at the upper left corner, laid at the extreme reverse left sheet edge, otherwise generally in good condition
