with fixed brown eyes, down-turned mouth, inset dark brown hair, stuffed body and wax limbs wearing original blue silk frock trimmed with black velvet ribande, scalloped frills and spotted net and underclothes, shoes and socks -- 22in. (56cm.) high, circa 1860, with ink mark on chest reading Montanari Manufacturer 251 Regent St. and Soho Bazaaar (face surface rubbed off, repairs to legs)
