modelled as a mandarin and a woman, in original silk and cotton clothes, the former with pigtail, the later with carved bun and bound feet -- 12in. (31cm.) high and 11in. (28cm.) high (clothes dirty, silk rotting) and a Japanese Lady Doll, with swivel head, high-piled black wig, the temples painted with brush strokes, open mouth, inset eyes and rigid body in original purple and white printed kimono -- 19½in.
