A Nürnberg salt and a chamber-candlestick
Circa 1740-50, blue M· to candlestick
Each painted in grand feu blue, the salt of hexagonal section, with a band of scrolling foliage at the shoulder above the waisted body and moulded lower part, each facet with an up-turned leaf issuing from a band of scrolling foliage (some minute fritting), the candlestick of waisted cylindrical form with a circular handle (broken through and repaired)
3 in. (7.6 cm.) and 27/8 in. (7.3 cm.) high (2)
