Circa 1760, the Höchst teacaddy incised 20
The first of slender rectangular section, one side painted with a figure resting by a large pannier, the other with two figures in a wooded landscape, the sides and top with flower-sprays (rim ground, slight wear to gilding), the ozier-moulded sides of the second with puce flower-sprays and bouquets within puce line borders, the arched top with puce flower-sprays (chipping to extremities, areas of wear to enamels)
The first 4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) high, the second 5¼ in. (13.4 cm.) high overall
