A Castelli pilgrim's flask
Circa 1760
Of flattened circular form with short neck, each side painted with figures by buildings in wooded landscapes with distant mountains, within circular brown, ocre and blue line cartouches, the pierced apertures to the flared rectanglar foot and straps to the shoulders for suspension (slight wear to extremities)
Approximately 65/8 in. (17 cm.) high
