A pair of St. Cloud white bouquetiere-figures Circa 1750
Modelled as two peasants, she in a bonnet, jacket and skirt, seated on rockwork with her hands resting on her knees, her lap with pierced apertures, he in a wide-brimmed hat, long coat and breeches, seated on rockwork astride a flared basket, the top with pierced apertures (she with firing cracks to base and left leg, minute chip to leaf of posy, he with chip to left foot, small shallow chip to front of base, slight firing cracks)
She 83/8 in. (21.4 cm.) and he 8¾ in. (22.2 cm.) high (2)
