A HULL MODEL OF THE BRIG ORIENT

The hull built up in lifts is carved and hollowed with painted black topsides and green bottom. The decks are of wood with planking lines scored in and coated with varnish. Details of the model include: removable whale back, windlass with star motif at the top, deadeyes, bilge pump and removable aft deck. This model was probably once rigged as a sailing model.
