A 5in. gauge electrified static display model of the Manchester and Liverpool Railway 0-4-2 locomotive and tender Lion,
with brass-bound, wood lagged, haystack boiler with level test cocks, regulator, two safety valves with Psalter spring balances, whistle, the chassis with inside cylinders, cab valve gear, leaf springs, double frames with square-headed bolts, barrelled coupling rods and other details, the tender with wooden buffer beam, water tank and coal bunker, water cock, brake lever, riveting and other details, finished in light and dark green, black and polished bright work, ballasted showtrack and wood plinth with electric motor and chain drive to coupled axle. Measurements overall --21 x 41¾in. (52.7 x 106cm.)
