Half Eagles
$5, 1834 Breen-6502. Classic Head, No Motto, Plain 4. EF-45 (PCGS). Very light greenish gold. A pleasing first-year type coin. The appearance of Classic Head gold coinage, first struck this year, as part of the S.S. Central America treasure is not surprising as these coins circulated extensively for decades after coinage.
