woodcut, 1894, on Japan, third state (of six), printed posthumously, stamped with the monogram fv and numbered 4/25 in pencil, (there were 50 signed and a few unsigned lifetime impressions and a total posthumous edition of 185), the full sheet as published, with margins, pale mount staining, some soft creasing, a slightly uneven right sheet edge, remains of tape verso and other minor blemishes, otherwise in good condition, framed
