The case with wooden urn finials to the break-arch top, arched glazed sides and on moulded base, the dial with silvered Roman chapter ring with blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds ring at VI with cut-out centre showing the chronometer escapement, the single chain fusee movement with inverted train terminating with a simple detent escapement, the rectangular movement plates supported on a brass seatboard and two steel turned pillars
