The case with octagonal ripple-moulded dial with foliate brass inlay, the trunk below flanked by carved wood fan decoration and centred by a brass-lined glazed pendulum aperture, hinged door to the base, the 12 in. diam. white painted Roman dial signed Ge. Fitch 99, New Road Gravesend, black painted moon hands, the four pillar single fusee movement with anchor escapement
