The padded back, part-padded arms, sides and squab cushion covered in close-nailed red striped material, the rectangular panelled back carved with a lotus-leaf rim, above slightly curved arms carved with foliage and supports carved with 'entrelac', with lotus-leaf panelled seat-rail, on turned tapering stop-fluted legs and toupie feet, both stamped 'S. BRIZARD', traces of earlier darker blue decoration (2)
