Cross and feather-banded to the top and sides, the moulded rectangular top, above a central frieze-drawer and a shaped arch flanked by two deep drawers, on octagonal tapering and turned baluster legs, joined by a waved stretcher, on bun feet, restorations, three feet replaced, three feet with repairs

Lot Essay

This side table is closely related in form to the William and Mary figured-walnut reading table, also formerly owned by the Rollason's and sold from the Parry Collection, in these Rooms, 24 April 1997, lot 260.
