A Directoire ormolu, patinated bronze and marble mantel-clock
The circular white enamelled Roman dial inscribed a Paris with pierced gilt hands and within a beaded bezel, surmounted by a pierced foliate scroll cresting issuing vine and grapetrails, supported by a pierced spreading case with urn finials and centred by a ribbon-tied berried laurel wreath, on paw feet, on a white marble plinth with a frieze cast with various cherubs, the movement with silk suspended pendulum and countwheel on strike, restorations
