A Regency Scottish mahogany longcase clock, first quarter 19th century
The case with fluted rosette caps to the hood with swan neck pediment, arched glazed side panels, outset brass-capped fluted columns, the trunk with horned arched top to the door and flanked by fluted pilasters, on plain plinth raised on bracket feet, the 13in. wide cut-away brass dial with gilt dolphin spandrels in the arch flanking a silvered disc signed James Park KILMALCOM, mask and urn spandrels to an elaborate chapter ring with arcaded ornament, the centre with engraved leafy scroll and stipple decoration, silvered seconds dial within rosette frame and date aperture to the centre, also with silvered disc inscribed IN.O SCOT AN NINEAN, later black painted hands, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 83¾in. (213cm.) high

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate from the Friday following the sale and every week-day from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Please note that there will be no charge to purchasers who collect their lots within one week of the sale.
On the Thursday, one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
