A Nürnberg pewter-mounted blue-ground cylindrical tankard
Circa 1720, blue K:. mark
The rope-twist handle with a raised rib, painted by Kordenbusch with Tobias and the Angel in a wooded landscape vignette within a scroll and flowerhead cartouche reserved on a ground of stylised flowerheads, scrolls and foliage, the hinged pewter cover with ball thumbpiece (crack to handle near mount and slight chips to handle and top rim, damage to mount)
