A fan, the canepin leaf painted with two shepherdesses and a shepherd preparing a picnic, with oxen pulling a plough beyond and a cottage and figures to the right, the verso inscribed Duvelleroy and painted with branches, the mother of pearl sticks carved and pierced with a lady with doves and gilt - 11in. (28cm.), French, circa 1870
