Provenance : the cellars of an historic moated house on the borders of Suffolk and Essex, sold at Christie's, 16 June 1977.

Fearon Block were upper echelon London wine merchants with a reputation to match their West End and country house clientele.

Taylor, outstandingly the best of all the 1935's, vying with the '48 as the most perfect Taylor for drinking now. Depth, power, beauty, great length. MB
