In my introduction to this sale catalogue, I referred to the Wine and Food Society dinner at Lenoir Josey's home when, following a stellar of range of vintages Lafite, Margaux and Mouton, in magnums, he capped them all by producing a double-magnum of the most perfect-ever Latour : the 1945. MB
