Early 19th Century, the first three Charpentier
Including a cut cylindrical tumbler with everted rim engraved with initials within an oval dot cartouche beside a seated poodle above bands of diamonds and flutes, sunray cut base, 4in. (10cm.) high; another with a band of fleur-de-lys between borders of diamonds, 3. 5/8in. (9cm.) high; another of bell shape with Cupid in flight, a hound and hearts on an altar above diamonds and flutes, 3¾in. (9.5cm.) high; a cylindrical tumbler engraved with a seated hound and inscribed FIDÉLITÉ above moulded flutes, 3¼in. (8.5cm.) high; and a bell-shaped mug with scroll handle engraved with a hound and initials within an oval cartouche beside an alter, beneath fruiting vine, 3½in. (9cm.) high (5)
