The design for a Pantheonic temple, with laurel-wreathed dome, was dedicated by William Chambers to the second Earl Tilney of Wanstead, Essex in his Treatise on Civil Architecture, 1759, pl.41.
The other design was dedicated by William Chambers to Henry Willoughby (later 5th Baron Middleton) of Birdsall, Yorkshire in his Treatise on Civil Architecture, 1759 pl.s 39-40.
