Further details
The above four lots, together with the unique Yr.2, are among the rarest of all Sino-Tibetan coins. They were published by Wolfgang Bertsch, the late Karl Gabrisch and the present cataloguer in "A Study of Sino-Tibetan coins of the Chia Ch'ing Era", The Journal of East Asian Numismatics, Vol.2, Nr.4, Summer 1995, pp.23-34, and the ref. nos from this article are included in the listing under the ref. "JEAN". These rare dates have not yet been published in any Chinese catalogues. Very few examples of each of the dates are currently known, and this is the first time that any of them have been offered in public auction.
