A FRENCH GILTWOOD CENTRE TABLE
Of Louis XIV style, late 19th Century
The rounded rectangular Spanish brocatelle marble top above a frieze carved with a female lambrequined mask flanked by C-scrolls, flowers and acanthus scrolls on a matted background, on square tapering legs with gadrooned edges headed by a lambrequin and C-scroll motif, joined by an X-stretcher with central rosette-filled platform, the rail with inventory label inscribed K/I824
29 in. (73.5 cm.) high; 31½ in. (80 cm.) wide; 21¼ in. (54 cm.) deep
