A SIX-PIECE MARTELÉ SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE WITH TRAY**
Maker's mark of Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, circa 1907
Comprising kettle on stand with burner, coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl; each oval bombé form on a lobed foot, the hammered body chased with trailing sprays of bellflowers amid panelled reserves, with ivory insulators, the hinged domed cover surmounted by a bud finial, the oval tray with two bracket handles and everted rim with similar decoration, marked under bases, with date code LRO-LRP, the tray LQT, the burner by Gorham, 1918
The kettle on stand 11½in. high, the tray 30½in. long over handle; gross weight 345oz. (7)
