Maker's mark of Gorham Mfg. Co., New York, 1881
Comprising a water pitcher, a pair of goblets and a waiter; the baluster-form pitcher, trumpet-footed goblets and square waiter each matte-finished and finely-engraved with scenic ornament in the Japanese taste, depicting birds, butterflies and flowers in vari-colored gilding, the waiter also depicting a landscape with a pond and eight geese flying in formation and a goose reaching for a dragonfly, each piece with die-rolled border, each marked under base
The pitcher 8¼in. high, the waiter 12¼in. square; 82oz. (4)
