A WORCESTER (FLIGHT, BARR & BARR) VASE
Circa 1815
The oviform vase with scroll handles, the everted mouth and foot moulded with leaf tips, painted in the Persian taste with six ogival panels of flowers reserved on an iron-red ground within a green seeded band reserved and painted in iron-red with folitae scrolls, each reserved on cobalt blue, the neck and foot with similar panels, on gilt square base

The illustration for this vase printed in the catalogue is un-numbered and is in a group photo with lot 218, a Chamberlain's Worcester plate. Lot 220, a pair of Worcester vases, was incorrectly numbered as 219.
