Circa 1750, signed Temple/Wt Haven, the works possibly associated
The swan's neck cresting terminating in paterae issuing acanthus and with leaf tip, dentilled and egg-and-dart molding, over an arched hinged glazed door behind freestanding Doric fluted columns, the arched black enamelled brass dial with Arabic and Roman chapter ring and strapwork blued steel hands cornered by scrolling lacquered brass spandrels and beneath a month and moon phase dial, the two-train movement striking the hour on a bell with anchor escapement and calibrated bob pendulum, the case with shaped crossbanded hinged door flanked by quarter stop-fluted columns headed by acanthus, the outstepped and egg-and-dart molded base with canted fluted angles and molded base, the seatboard replaced
