Last tasted February 1998. Medium deep violet color. Aromas of rich, ripe, buttery fruit, with accents of spicy plum (reminiscent of hoisin sauce). On the palate still quite tannic and dry, the fruit notable for its purity. A big wine needing another 5-10 years. FH
