The Holland & Holland patent semi-selective single-triggers with rolled-edge triggerguards, hand-detachable lockplates, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, the lockplates profusely engraved with scenes of Mallard and Pheasant (No.1) and Grouse and Partridge (No.2), all within their naturalistic habitats, the undersides of each gun engraved with the heads of Labradors, the engraving signed 'K.P.', the whole surrounded by bold acanthus-scrollwork, gold-inlaid serial numbers, bright cyanide-hardened finish overall, highly-figured stocks, the chopper-lump barrels with game-ribs and Holland & Holland patent self-opening compressors

The makers have kindly confirmed that the guns were completed in 1978. They have remained unused since leaving Holland & Holland's factory on completion
