Bearing a coat-of-arms, possibly of the Boleyn family, 17th/18th Century
Crested with a bull's-head above a central strapwork framed cartouche armorial, flanked by flags, trophies, drums, cannons and bagpipes

Lot Essay

The Boleyn family coat-of-arms consists of a chevron and three bull's heads. These motifs can be found at the left of the central crest. The right portion consists of three battle axes which could represent the Shephard family.
