A GEORGE III MAHOGANY BEDSIDE POT CUPBOARD

The rounded rectangular top with three-quarter gallery pierced to each side with a handle, above a narrow frieze drawer with molded surround and a banded panelled hinged door, the lower false drawer front with molded surround sliding forward to a hidden chamber pot compartment now with tooled red leather-lined cover, the front legs with chamfered and reeded edges, bottom drawer originally fitted with a chamber pot
