In the Sheraton style, the crossbanded top with a neo classical border centred with a seated lady reading a book with foliate painted frieze and enclosed by a panel door, decorated with seated figure writing, between oval panels with grisaille classial figures between stiles with trailing ribbon-tied flowers, on square tapering legs terminating in spade feet
