The vendor's father, Patrick Weymouth, was Props Master on The Man With The Golden Gun and Live And Let Die.

Similar bullets are seen in the film when the gun-maker Lazar shows Bond a packet of the latest batch of golden bullets that he has made for infamous hit man, Scaramanga [Christopher Lee]. This packet was subsequently picked up by Andrea Anders [Maud Adams] from the casino, after which Bond follows her back to her hotel to interrogate her about Scaramanga.
