Sale room notice
Although we can confirm that this number plate definately came off one of the Aston Martin DB5's originally owned by Eon Productions, as stated in the catalogue description, the style of the lettering suggests that it dates from 1969/1970 which would indicate that it would not have been on the car when it toured the U.S.A. in the mid '60s to promote Goldfinger and Thunderball. The estimate has been revised to £1500-2500.
