Aethelred II, Penny, First Hand type (BEH B1), a contemporary forgery with blundered legends and omega inverted on reverse, 17.8 grains, 1.15g (as N.766 and S.1144), struck, coarse style, very fine, rare as a forgery, doubtless English, no imitation of this (early) type in Copenhagen (see Sylloge 1451-1699)
