the cover painted in shades of blue with a Continental river scene, within a shaped cartouche edged with raised gilding, the richly-gilt ground 'jewelled' with graduated turquoise beads, the interior enriched in gilding, printed mark, painted V2847, circa 1910 (cover with a small section of inner rim restuck, some chips to beading) -- 15cm. long
