A VICTORIAN RATTAN ROCKING CHAIR AND SIDE CHAIR
Each labelled Wakefield Rattan Company, Boston, New York, Chicago, late 19th-early 20th century
The rocking chair with vertical beaded rattan separated by wooden reeded spindles with five horizontal braided rattan separators, leading to scrolled arms, over a rush seat on straight legs and rockers; the chair with scroll and crosshatched crest above a woven splat with scrolled stiles above a woven seat with crosshatched seat rail on straight legs with scroll decoration with bowed stretcher
