Seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus throne, the right hand held up, the left holding the pearl of wisdom in the lap, the face with a meditative expression, clad in a long robe fastened at the shoulder, overall red lacquer and gilding; together with a gilt and red lacquered wood stand, Japanese, 19th century, the lotus base set onto a tiered plinth and raised on a red lacquer stand with a scrolled bracket outline
