A Bronze Incense Burner and Cover Formed as Shoulao Riding a Deer

Well cast in two sections, the cover formed as the god of Longevity shown holding a ruyi sceptre and a scroll while seated atop the opening in the back of the elegant striding deer with backward-turned head which forms the incense burner, with a peach-form aperture in Shoulao's back, the olive-gold surface with areas of reddish patina
