Rectangular, decorated with a pheasant on a flowering plum tree and a branch of flowering camellias on a kinji ground, the feathers of the bird silver, red, gold and black takamaki-e and the tips of the long gold tail feathers inlaid iridescent shell, the plum tree gold takamaki-e with thicker branches embellished with kirigane and two blossoms inlaid in mother-of-pearl, the camellia blossoms red, gold and silver and three leaves inlaid in mother-of-pearl, the interior cases nashiji; fitted with a coral bead ojime
