Late 19th Century
Intricately carved overall with scrolling foliage and Hindu scenes and banded with metal-inlaid stellar motifs, the octagonal top centred by a playing surface with ivory and carved quadrants, the frieze with four drawers, one with eleven variously-sized compartments and another with a pin cushion and a lidded compartment, on a spirally-twisted baluster shaft and on a star-shaped quadripartite base and ivory bun feet, losses to the ivory, two frieze panels missing
