Of rectangular form, the central divided plate with serpentine cresting carved with foliage and floral clasps centered by a feathered shell within a strapwork carved surround, the panelled sides carved with further strapwork and floral clasps centered by shells, lacking two further carved scrolls above mirror, which were probably later, previously fitted
