A PAIR OF LOUIS XV WALNUT FAUTEUILS
Mid 18th Century, the cresting and apron recarved
Each cartouche back, arms and seat upholstered in rose velvet, the frame grooved overall, the arched crest rail with asymmetrical rocaille clasp issuing scrolling vines above outsplayed arms, the bowed front seat rail with similar rocaille clasp above cabriole legs and peg feet, with the printed paper label for Au Bon Marche stamped in black ink 1388 (2)
