A RARE SILVER PRE-HAIRSPRING VERGE POCKET WATCH WITH CALENDAR, LUNAR CALENDAR AND MOONPHASE
Hans Rossbach, Hamburg, circa 1650-60.
silver dial with Roman chapter ring, half hour markers, later hands, lunar and terrestrial calendar rings, central moonphase, the lower half engraved with a country view, gilt fusee movement signed Hans Rofsbach, Hamburg, turned baluster pillars, fusee with gut line, silvered regulation disc, the screw with blued steel pierced foliate feet, foliate pierced cock with small irregular foot, steel balance wheel, case with split bezel and engraved throughout with flowers, diameter 51mm.
